Margaret King Zacharias is a free-lance writer who has loved the ocean since her childhood summers spent in Vancouver, British Columbia.

She completed Master's Degree programs in education and anthropology and earned a Ph.D in educational psychology at Northwestern University on the shores of Lake Michigan.

She currently lives on a prairie bluff, overlooking the confluence of two rivers; and in the Sonoran desert foothills, among  fossil remains of an ancient inland sea.

In addition to writing fiction and poetry,  Margaret creates unique and imaginative copy for clients in educational, medical, and fine arts organizations.
